Amazon pulls “Melania” from Oregon theater.

Lake Theater and Cafe in Lake Oswego put on the outside sign the phrase, “To defeat your enemy, you must know them. Melania starts Friday,”. The distributor, Amazon, pulled the film. The story made national headlines.   Strange that the local theater would call the first lady an “enemy” since the public generally allows a lot of grace to spouses of presidents.    That grace may explain why Melania box office returns performed double above projections and witnessed higher returns than most documentaries over the last decade.
