Salem, Ore. – Oregon Farm Bureau today announced its endorsement of Christine Drazan for Governor, citing her long-standing commitment to supporting Oregon agriculture, rural communities, and practical solutions for the state’s future.

“Oregon’s farmers and ranchers are overwhelmed by mounting regulations, unstable markets, inflation, and soaring labor costs. We need a governor who is ready to deliver real solutions to protect the future of agriculture in our state and keep family farms viable for future generations,” said Angi Bailey, President of Oregon Farm Bureau. “Christine Drazan has demonstrated that she listens to Oregonians, values working lands, and supports commonsense solutions that strengthen our economy and protect our way of life.”

Oregon Farm Bureau is the state’s largest grassroots agricultural organization, representing farm and ranch families across Oregon. The organization’s endorsement reflects its mission to advocate for responsible public policy, a strong agricultural economy, and the preservation of Oregon’s natural resources.

Drazan has emphasized priorities that align with many of the concerns voiced by Oregon Farm Bureau members, including rising costs, regulatory burdens, workforce challenges, and the need for stable infrastructure and public safety in rural communities.

“Oregon agriculture is not just an industry, it’s a way of life that supports local jobs, food security, and the stewardship of our land,” said Greg Addington, Executive Director. “We believe Christine Drazan is poised to lead Oregon forward and ensure rural voices are heard in Salem.”

“Farm Bureau is proud to support leaders who will stand up for Oregon’s farmers and ranchers,” Angi Bailey said. “We encourage Oregonians to learn more about Christine Drazan and her new direction for Oregon.”
