How senators voted on $300M business tax

Above is the vote count for SB 1507 which helped disconnect Oregon tax codes from three of the 2025 Trump tax cuts.  The two big disconnects were the big depreciation (1 year) and the tax reduction for people with car loans.   The depreciation disconnect comes with a bureaucratic penalty, in that Oregon businesses will need to keep two different depreciation schedules (one Federal, one Oregon).  This means many businesses will have to do extra paperwork in Oregon that they would not have to do in most states.
