Governor Kotek made incredible political sacrifices to appease the teacher’s union.  Kotek passed the Corporate Activities Tax cited as the most expensive tax passed in Oregon history by raising billions … yes, billions solely for schools!   Governor Kotek tried to steal the people’s Income Tax Refund last year as a way to rake in more government money.  Under Kotek, education spending has grown 70% in about a decade.   Apparently, the government unions want even more spending, more taxes, more new revenue streams.
