3 bad signs in a row at No Kings protest

Just to show that the Taxpayers Association is not cherry-picking some of the extremist messages from the Portland No Kings Day March, we showcase this photo example, which shows three absurd signs all next to each other.

SIGN #1. “Abolish ICE”: This is a call to eliminate immigration enforcement altogether.  Since 2025 ICE has charged or convicted 54,600 people of homicide, robbery, sexual assault, kidnapping, or arson.  As a result, in part, violent crime plummeted last year. If there was no ICE, these people would be back on our streets.

SIGN #2. “No ICE = No ICE”: Again, this sign calls to eliminate immigration enforcement altogether.

SIGN #3. “The whole system is guilty. Shut it down.  Party for Socialism and Liberation”:  Socialists do not simply wish to make America more socialist, but rather to “shut it down” and start all over again from scratch.

BONUS SIGN: The lady in the bottom right corner with the black cap has a sign that reads “General Strike”.  This is a common socialist call for workers everywhere to mass strike at once as a way to shock the system, bring chaos, and force radical change rather than enacting change through voter approval.
