Stop Fooling Around and Finish the Job

By Larry Huss,

Here we go again. The stated goals of the United States in dealing with Iran, its terrorist networks, and its nuclear ambitions have largely been accomplished. We know this not because of satellite photos, field reports, or the networks of spies deployed by the Central Intelligence Agency and the Israeli Mossad, but rather by the volume and recklessness of the talk by liberals and progressive members of Congress. Why so loud and reckless? Because President Donald T. Trump is succeeding where they have failed – again. They had hoped – again – that they had found a Trump initiative that would fail so that they might use it to bolster their irrational belief that Mr. Trump was not qualified for public office. I always find that amusing since the last time they were in the majority they produced Joe Biden – a useful idiot who disintegrated in office.

However, according to local rumors, Mr. Trump is about to throw another curve ball and change up the negotiating team supporting Vice-president J.D. Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Mr. Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. He has apparently asked Reps. Nancy Pelosi, Jasmine Crockett, and Jamie Raskin and Sens. Adam Schiff, Mark Warner and Cory Booker to assist in an apparent attempt to match the Iranians liar for liar.

Okay, so there’s really no change in the lineup because, frankly, Mr. Trump wouldn’t trust these six morons to sex his chickens.* And yet we have to listen day in and day out from the Democrats and their allies in the media that we haven’t given diplomacy a chance. What the hell do you think we have been doing over the last forty-seven years to no avail? The only thing we have accomplished through seven successive Presidents of the United States (Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe**) is that we have been manipulated by the Elis of the State Department who have never seen an enemy of America that isn’t a friend of theirs.

The time for diplomacy is over. It hasn’t worked and it isn’t going to work with Iran for one simple reason – they lie. They lie about everything even when the truth would serve them better. They not only lie because they can; they lie because their view of Islam, taught by their clerics, is that they are obligated to lie. It is called taqiyya, and it is apparently mandatory in any conversation between the Shia and everybody else, and even within the Shia, is applicable to communications between those in charge (the ayatollahs and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) and the lesser beings slaving in Iran.

It is time for action because action is the only thing that has worked over the past forty-seven years and the past six weeks in particular. So when the current temporary cease-fire expires, Mr. Trump should do the following:

1. Begin the systematic destruction of their critical infrastructure, beginning with their bridges, moving on to their power stations and grids, and finishing with Kharg Island – their primary shipping point for their oil. And after each facility is destroyed, contact should be made with the IRGC** to ask whether they are prepared to accede to America’s demands – not a renewal of negotiations because there is no reason to negotiate. Mr. Trump is the first President to have recognized that our economic strength is our most important and potent weapon. He also understands that Iran’s economy is its weakness. Its singular reliance on oil leaves them vulnerable. Shut down the oil and you shut down Iran. By following the systematic destruction of Iran’s infrastructure, we can enforce our demands – no nuclear weapons, no missiles, no support for proxy terrorist regimes, and the release of existing stockpiles of enriched uranium. Also, it can be done without boots on the ground and can be paused at any point when the leadership of Iran capitulates. The best outcome would be that the IRGC concedes with enough pieces of their infrastructure operational so that the next regime has financial resources to rebuild Iran.

2. Begin arming and training dissident Iranians who can lead a revolution to displace the maniacal theocracy currently running Iran with the help of the IRGC. At this point, arming them should be limited to shoulder-fired weapons only. America should take note of how vulnerable the Iranian people are without access to weapons, as well as the politicians advocating gun control and confiscation. They are largely found among the progressives and socialists who, while denying it, recognize that their preferred form of government can only exist by force – just like Iran and its theocratic oligarchy.

3. And finally, tell Mr. Trump to stop the personal attacks on everyone with whom he disagrees. I don’t disagree that Great Britain’s Keir Starmer is a socialist weenie who spent a lifetime as a public employee; however, as a head of state, it is probably better to criticize his policies than him personally. The same goes with Europe’s principal surrender monkey – France’s President Emmanuel Macron.
Victory is well within Mr. Trump’s reach, but he needs to decide, as the most powerful leader in the world: are you going to be a bully or a protector? Much of the world views Mr. Trump as the latter, while the Democrats and the effete leaders of Europe view him as the former.

*Sex his chickens is denigrating reference to a monotonous job requiring little skills and even less attention.

** I have noted in previous columns that even the worst public figures are entitled to the courtesy of their designated title initially and/or the courtesy title of Mr., Mrs., or Ms. thereafter. However, Joe Biden was the worst head of state in our nearly 250 years of existence. So bad was he that it is impossible to determine whether he actually served as President of the United States or just ceded all the power to a cabal of unelected bureaucrats and wealthy donors. He has sullied and corrupted everything he touched and remains undeserving of any official courtesy.

*** I reference the IRGC because they have all the guns and thus the singular ability to impose their views on Iran’s population. It also appears that they have possession of the newest Ayatollah, although it is less clear whether he is still alive and/or cognitive.
