Lars Larson: Portland won’t call car bomb attack “terrorism”

The Northwest Nonsense

A terrorist attacked a major building west of downtown Portland this weekend with a car bomb.

The building houses the MAC club, a fancy gym and restaurants and bars only open to the financial and political elites of Portlandia.

You know, the ones who can afford 5 thousand bucks a year in dues.

Does that sound like terrorism to you?  Yeah, me too.

But don’t try to tell that to Police Chief Bob Day.  Day owes his continued employment to the crazy liberals who make up the Portland City Council.

Here’s the quote from Day I think illustrates that;  “this was an isolated event and not related to domestic terrorism.”

The attack came on the weekend following the favorite holiday of left wing lunatics, May Day.

Mayor Keith “Weak Knees” Wilson even offered “a note of sadness” for the death of bomber Bruce Whitman. Sympathy for the devil indeed.

What do we know about Whitman?  Bernie Sanders fan, union organizer.  Fired from the MAC club 7 years ago, then years of threatening members of the club.  Not one but TWO red flag court orders to disarm him.  Oregon understands it has major problems with the mentally ill but progressive policies prevent any real solution, like, say, locking up dangerous crazies like Whitman.

And when a terrorist bomber with a longstanding grudge attacks, don’t expect the progressives who call the shots in the Northwest to use the T word.

That’s the Rose City Rap.  Join me at noon on KXL for 4 hours of Honestly provocative talk.  I’m Lars Larson
