Shock poll: 59% Portlanders dislike Kotek.

The Oregon cites a new DHM Research poll where 59% of Portlanders (yes, Portlanders) have a negative opinion on the Governor.

Here is a quote on the story:

“Just a third of Portland metro area respondents said they have a positive opinion of Kotek, while 59% said they have a negative impression of her, according to the recent survey commissioned by The Oregonian/OregonLive. The survey of 600 registered voters in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties was conducted by DHM Research from April 23 to 30.The poll results arrive just over a week before the May 19 primary election, in which Kotek won’t face a notable challenger.”

In 2024, Governor Kotek was among the least liked governors in America.  At the time, there was a large undecided.

This means the 2026 Governor’s race is in play.
