SALEM, Ore. — Today, Representative Matt Bunch (R-Canby) issued the following statement in response to the heartbreaking tragedy that devastated the Sandy Community on Sunday.

“Our Sandy community is hurting today after yesterday’s tragic shooting. Please join me in praying for the victims, the injured officer, their families, our first responders, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy. We’re incredibly grateful to the law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, and emergency personnel who responded in such difficult circumstances,” said Rep. Bunch.
