Naked man kidnaps girl, age 7, at popular park

Portland’s Waterfront Park along the river is among the most popular and crowded parks in Oregon.  Yet, it became the scene where a naked man was running around the park and then tried to steal a 7-year-old girl.  Both parents and bystanders intervened and stopped the man.

Portland Police could not assist in time because they were responding to another crisis and were short-staffed.

This is why the Taxpayers Association has been helping the petition to restore police funding.
