For many people, owning a business is the very definition of the American dream. In fact, the Founding Fathers considered the right to economic liberty a fundamental part of “the pursuit of happiness.” But in today’s America, attaining such a dream is made increasingly difficult by cumbersome laws and regulations.

The Right to Earn a Living: Economic Freedom and the Law explores the legal and constitutional history of the right to earn a living without unreasonable government interference, and reveals the many ways in which that right is threatened today.

RSVPs are not required. Admission to the event is free. However, if you wish to purchase the buffet dinner, $20 can be paid at the door. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
