Massive Kmart fire, poison clouds, started by homeless

An enormous fire consumed an abandoned Kmart in NE Portland.

The building had been occupied by homeless for many years in an ongoing struggle with neighbors who tried to keep them out.  Now it is on fire.  There are so many different chemical substances on fire that the Portland Fire Permanent is unable to warn neighbors on what is in the clouds that have covered the neighborhood.

Portland had 1,959 fires related to homeless last year.
