2 different trucks, different times fall into Columbia River

Two different large trucks fell into the Columbia River off I-84 near Miller’s Island.

Expect closures along I-84.

Both drivers were able to escape.

Both drivers had accidents near the same spot yet different times apart.

Police are investigating.  This could be minor or may reflect a broader sabotage effort that impacts one of Oregon’s most used highways.
