Uber-liberal (Soros) DA now runs as tough-on-crime

The super-liberal Multnomah District Attorney who helped cause the Portland crime-wave is running for is life in the May 2024 Primary against a crime-fighter Nathan Vasquez.

After dropping nearly 1,000 riot charges and letting hundreds of criminals go prosecuted, Mike Schmidt is sending out mailings saying he is tough-on-crime.  After being soft-on-drugs Schmidt is now running as tough-on-drugs.

Schmidt who was quiet on defunding police now runs as funding police.

Remember, over $200,000 of Soros tied funds have come in to rescue Mike Schmidt.

Here is what we previously reported on Mike Schmidt’s race:

An Oregonian and DHM Research poll shows:

34% – Nathan Vasquez
22% – Mike Schmidt
44% – undecided

When briefed on the candidates:

50% – Nathan Vasquez
31% – Mike Schmidt
19% – undecided

The current Multnomah District Attorney and George Soros backed, Mike Schmidt, contributed to Portland’s wild crime wave with his soft-on-crime policies.

As District Attorney, Schmidt let around 1,000 riot charges be dropped.
