Democrats Try Gaslighting About Trump’s Well Being

After the abysmal performance of Democrat nominee Vice President Kalamata Harris on not just the FOX News interview by Bret Baier last Thursday, but rather on the successive abysmal failures on CNN, MSNBC, CBS (60 Minutes) and a variety of softball podcasts (including Call Her Daddy) with a series of oddball progressive sycophants, the far left wing of the Democrat party who controls Ms. Harris and her campaign have seized upon yet another new tack in order to bolster Ms. Harris’ flagging support. That’s right, she going to try to copy former President Donald Trump yet again.*

Ms. Harris and her far left supporters watched Mr. Trump hammer away at President Joe Biden’s obvious struggles with diminishing cognitive skills. Eventually, neither Mr. Biden nor his far left progressives could ignore the obvious and so they booted him from the ticket. It worked and so Ms. Harris and her handlers have decided to do the same to Mr. Trump and so the talking points to the Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media is to turn over every rock to demonstrate that Mr. Trump is suffering a cognitive decline.

But therein lies the problem. When Mr. Trump criticized Mr. Biden’s diminished cognitive skills it was based upon observable performances of Mr. Biden. The far left progressives actually accelerated the observable decline by hiding Mr. Biden again – keeping him away from confrontational interviews, restricting his comments to teleprompter aided speeches, and leaving explanations to his trained liars – i.e press secretaries. But this is where it falls apart for the far left and their mainstream media cohorts.

The far left has become accustomed to just making things up, distributing it for every Democrat to reiterate and for the mainstream media to report – followed by the talking heads of the mainstream media pontificating about it ad nauseam. It is as if superfluidity does vitiate – that talking about it constantly makes it real without an actual foundation, without actual fact. Speculation on what might be then becomes the “truth” because they say it so many times. It is a propaganda tool embraced by many totalitarians, although who may have originated it remains in dispute. Some say the Nazi propaganda minister Josef Goebbels while others point to other historical rogues.

But it is a propaganda tool that only succeeds if you can keep the masses from observing the truth and this is becoming virtually impossible in the post-social media era. You simply cannot sponsor a “big lie” when the public is observing quite the opposite in real time. The biggest instance is when Mr. Biden and the mainstream media were detailing how successful our withdrawal was from Afghanistan while we watched in horror as thirteen American soldiers were killed in a preventable ambush and Afghan supporters fell from the sides and wheel wells of airplanes they could not board. It was followed by Mr. Biden, Ms. Harris and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandra Mayors insisting that the southern border was secure while each night some television stations carried hours of uninterrupted hordes of illegal immigrants crossing the border.** As Groucho Marx once quipped:

“Who are you going to believe, me or your own lying eyes?”

So, the far left is given to scrutinizing every move Mr. Trump makes. If he dances on stage at one of his rallies, it is a sign of senility. No it isn’t. It’s a sign that he isn’t a very good dancer and never was. If he cancels an event, it is a sign of his poor health. No it isn’t, it’s a sign of scheduling conflict just like it was when Ms. Harris showed up twenty minutes late for the Bret Baier interview which resulted an abbreviated interview. Then someone says Mr. Trump is exhausted. No, he isn’t. In fact it is just another false claim made up by one of their unidentified progressive sycophants and echoed endlessly by speculation amongst their allies, particularly among the harridan on CNN and MSNBC, without the slightest bid of proof. No, he isn’t any more exhausted than Ms. Harris whose under eyes bags are showing. It ignores that Mr. Trump does more appearances before Ms. Harris gets up each day than she accomplish all day. Tens of thousands of people see and hear Mr. Trump everyday – hear him live, watch him respond, measure his answers and cheer his exuberance. The big lie does not work when the audience itself can and does observe quite the opposite.

But here is the kicker. Those with the weakest intellects choose to believe the big lies because it gives them purpose – false purpose for sure – but purpose. For some it is demonstrated when they refuse to here the other side – a silencing hand extended by yet another Karen who cannot defend her views and, therefore, refuses to hear the views of others.. For others it shows up when they get angry that others are not believing them. It showed on Mr. Harris in the Bret Baier interview when, near the end of the interview, she railed against Mr. Trump as if he was the devil incarnate. Ms. Harris believes he is and cannot understand why it isn’t crystal clear to the masses that she is here to save them from themselves. How could she be trailing when “everyone knows” how evil Mr. Trump is? Quite frankly, Ms. Harris reeks of her own mental anxieties. But another vodka might sooth her nerves.

* Having previously supported open borders, Ms. Harris all of sudden now advocates building the border wall – just like Mr. Trump has been doing for years. And then she repeated Mr. Trump’s advocacy for “no tax on tips” that he announced even before she staged her midnight coup to push Mr. Biden out of the presidential race and seize the nomination for herself. (I’m probably misspeaking her because it is obvious that Ms. Harris couldn’t organize a shopping list let alone a palace coup. )

**The mainstream media did its part in perpetuating these big lies by refusing to carry any programming that showed the illegals crossing. However, mainstream media is not the only game in town anymore and their collusion has only deepened the distrust of the corporate media.
