Trail of trash near Portland waterway

Independent reporter Kevin Dahlgren and photographer Tara Faul discovered large piles of trash, stolen items, rotting food, and more near a waterway in Portland. They found that the significant amount of waste wasn’t caused by a group of homeless individuals, but rather by two people and a dog. This considerable pollution not only poses a potential health risk due to the presence of rotting food and human waste, but it also raises concerns for the surrounding environment.
