Local news bias on tax cut bill

The headline sets the tone and expectation for the article.

KGW-TV leads with “Trash Bill” to explain the Trump-backed tax cut bill passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.

Would KGW-TV lead with “Trash Bill” for Biden’s trillion dollar Inflation Reduction Act (that increased inflation) or Biden’s Green New Deal?

No, they wouldn’t.

Turns out voters favor extending the 2017 tax cuts by 85%!!!

Also, the KGW-TV story fails to alert their viewers that if this tax bill does not pass — it will result in the largest tax increase in United States History.

Ask that question to voters.

As for Food Stamp reductions … I think we can afford some basic safeguards against abuse and creating dependency.

Since, Oregon is the #6 Food Stamp dependent state, we know there is a lot of abuse and dependency problems.
