Damascus, OR – Andrew Morrison, a business and technology professional, coach, board member, husband, and father, has announced his candidacy for State Representative in Oregon House District 48, which includes Damascus, Clackamas, Happy Valley, and part of Portland.

“As a father and working Oregonian, I know firsthand the challenges Oregon families face. I’m running for State Representative because I believe our community deserves common-sense leadership focused on accountability, opportunity, and fairness,” Morrison said.

Morrison brings years of experience in business, technology, and executive leadership, as well as service as a current and past board member of several community organizations. His campaign will focus on practical solutions to strengthen Oregon’s future.

Key Priorities:

Public Safety – Supporting law enforcement and first responders so families feel safe in their homes and neighborhoods.

Affordability – Tackling the rising cost of living and keeping Oregon a place where working families can thrive.

Education – Strengthening academics in schools to ensure kids are prepared for the real world.

Infrastructure – Making sure roads, transportation, and utilities keep up with growth.

Accountability in Government – Demanding transparency, true fiscal responsibility with taxpayer dollars, and responsible leadership in Salem.

“I’m not running to score political points. I’m running to serve,” Morrison said. “Together, we can build stronger, safer, and more affordable communities here in House District 48.”
