State gets $250M tax revenue boost. Still cry broke!

The economic revenue forecast showed better tax revenue coming than forecasted.  It appears that the unexpected tax boost just added $253 to $280 million more in revenue in the state budget.

There is no need to pilfer the Trump tax cuts by robbing businesses of their full state deduction from the business depreciation tax relief benefit as passed last year by Congress with the Big Beautiful Bill.   The February 2025 session has already had a hearing on Sb 1507 which would do just this.
