Gov. released felon linked to 5 deaths

Taxpayers Association of Oregon Foundation

Accused serial killer suspect Jesse Calhoun is now being linked to a fifth woman who was killed. Calhoun was released from prison early by then-Governor Kate Brown during Covid in 2021. Brown had commuted over 40 prisoners for their help fighting wildfires.

Jesse Calhoun has been accused in the past of:

– 3rd degree assault
– harassment
– drug possession
– theft
– kidnapping
– traffic violations
– assaulting a public safety officer
– interfering with a law enforcement animal
– auto theft

What part of this record makes one worthy of early release?

We think having being cited for assault, kidnapping and attacking a police officer makes one a high risk for violence.  He should not have been released early.

— Do remember, everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and the 5 deaths have yet go to trial.
