CA has seized near 1 million pounds of illegal pot

By Taxpayers Association of Oregon Foundation,

Since 2022, California has captured over 840,000 pounds of illegal black-market marijuana.

The street value has been valued at over $1.3 billion.

This near-million mark demonstrates how massive the black market has become since legalization.   The same has occurred in Oregon where the black market has grown.  This goes counter to the legalization promise that legalizing marijuana would reduce illegal sales.

These illegal sales have cut severely into legal marijuana shops who cannot compete.   There should be more attention and research on this issue.
