In Chicago, only criminals get to have guns

by NW Spotlight

Despite Chicago’s “strongest gun control regime in the nation”, Chicago is still plagued with violence. Anti-gun Chicago creates the environment where last night two armed robbers shot at a 62-year-old store owner 9 times while he defended himself with a bat. It was a miracle the store owner was only hit once – in the thigh – a shot that barely missed an artery. The criminals didn’t appear to have any trouble getting a gun, but Chicago’s gun control limited the law-abiding store owner to defending himself with a bat.

UPDATE: In Illinois, politicians are protected — but not everyone else
“On Wednesday we called Roderick Drew, spokesman for Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s Law Department, who told us that store owners are prohibited from carrying handguns.”
