by NW Spotlight

The dog days of summer are almost at an end – Labor Day is in just 13 days. Campaigns in Oregon will be heating up and Republican candidates are going to need your support heading into Election Day on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

They’re going to need any donations or volunteer efforts you can spare, and they’re going to need your VOTE!

Here are the campaign websites for the statewide and congressional Republican candidates:

Donald Trump for President

Mark Callahan for U.S. Senate

Brian Heinrich for U.S. Congress (Oregon CD-1)

Rep. Greg Walden for U.S. Congress (Oregon CD-2)

David Walker for U.S. Congress (Oregon CD-3)

Art Robinson for U.S. Congress (Oregon CD-4)

Colm Willis for U.S. Congress (Oregon CD-5)

Bud Pierce for Governor

Dennis Richardson for Oregon Secretary of State

Jeff Gudman for State Treasurer

Daniel Zene Crowe for Oregon Attorney General

Oregon Legislature

To find out what state senate district and state house district you live in, please go to this website and enter your address (this will also tell you what U.S. Congressional district you live in). To find the Republican candidate (Primary winner) for your state and house district, go to this list of 2016 Primary winners (pages 26-81) and find your district.

There are elections for all 60 state house districts and for half of the 30 state senate districts. Not all districts will have a GOP candidate.

Additionally, as a result of the recent sad death of Sen. Alan Bates (D-Medford), state senate district 3 will also be on the November ballot.

Last day to register to vote in one week

A week from today, Aug. 30, 2016, is the last day to register to vote in this year’s [September county] election (in Oregon you can register to vote online).
