Results: Predict Oregon May Primary 2018 Edition

The results are in!

Our Predict Oregon contest for the May Primary 2018 election is now over. We had to make several adjustments to our contest. First, our question about the Independent Party of Oregon gubernatorial primary didn’t allow for anyone to choose a write-in candidate the winner. Early totals from Marion and Clackamas counties suggest it is possible a write-in candidate could win that primary, so we’ve removed the question.

Additionally, the Republican Primary for Oregon House District 53 won’t be resolved until next month, so we removed that contest as well. That left us with 28 questions and the tie-breaker. The tie-breaker was quite necessary as it turned out as there was a four-way tie for second place.
