Former Oregon State Representative and Oregon Republican Party Chairman Kevin Mannix has made his preferences known for the Senate District 10 appointment process.
Mannix provided a statement to Oregon Catalyst.
“Our Republican precinct committee men and women for Marion and Polk Counties should nominate thee solid nominees so the Commissioners have the best possible choices in appointing a successor to Senator Winters. We will need a great appointee to hold this seat. Two solid candidates are Representative Denyc Boles and Selma Pierce. They are intelligent, hard-working conservatives who are in touch with the people. I endorse both of them for two of the three required nomination slots.”
