On Saturday night the rioters tore down the wall protecting our Federal Courthouse

 

Protestors left a long trail of cop-killing messages

 

Despite Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler acting on activists demands (He pulled cops from schools, cut police budget $12 million) and showing up to support the protestors there was ample graffiti condemning him.   (oh yes, “Kill Trump” too, of course)

 

In a riot everything gets destroyed: Public garbage cans, cars, parking meters, ATMs

 

Blocks of boarded up businesses.

 

Followed by more blocks of boarded up businesses.

 

The Portland World Trade Center had a gate blocking their courtyard and plenty of boarded up windows and plastic drapes to protect other windows.

 

This business was indeed open but just covered in plywood to protect itself.
