House Bill 4079:
Creates 3% sales tax to fund monthly checks to homeless, poor people.
— Stuck in Committee

House Bill 4133:
Allows people to submit social security data to third party vendors as a way to register to vote.
— Passed House and Senate, heading to Governor’s desk

House Bill 4147:
Allows felons to vote in elections
— Stuck in Committee

Senate Bill 1511:
Provides new trials for those convicted by non-unanimous juries:
— Passed out Senate Committee, Stuck in Ways and Means Committee, may still move

Senate Bill 1521:
Makes it harder for School Boards to fire failing School Superintendents. 1-year notice.
Passed House and Senate, heading to Governor’s desk

House Bill 4002:
Requires overtime for farm workers
Passed Senate. Now in House.

Senate Bill 1526:
Creates campaign finance limits:
Stuck in Committee

Senate Bill 1540:
Funds $2.6 million to State Police to fund the Firearms Instant Check System to address a backlog.
— Passed out Senate Committee, Stuck in Ways and Means Committee, may still move

HB 4108
Ezra’s law: Longer sentencing for criminals who cause permanent physical injury to their victims.
— Stuck in Committee. Bipartisan work-group formed to resubmit next Session.

House Bill 1546
Allows some flexibility in allowing research, use, harvesting of Elliot forest which was taken away from local communities.
Passed two Committees, not yet sent for floor vote
