Give the Portland Pickles Baseball team credit for the most attention grabbing promotional stunt of the year.

It plays into one of Oregon’s most notorious odd news stories.

 

But notice that the 2022 re-enactment did not include the exploding whale incident where a piece of the whale landed on a vehicle and crushed the car.
