Gov. candidate Betsy Johnson turns in petitions on deadline day

Former Democrat State Senator Betsy Johnson turned in signatures yesterday to qualify as an unaffiliated candidate for Oregon Governor.  Despite eight months of news coverage, Betsy officially turned in the signatures this week.   Betsy needed 23,744 valid signatures to be certified for the ballot with the campaign stating that they turned in more than 48,000.
