After defund cops, people turn to robots to save them

Since Portland defunded police by $12 million and 100 police staff, many local businesses are turning to other methods to stem the crime wave. Some businesses are relying on hiring their own security. This has caused the rise of several news stories this year alone on private security shootings in the Portland area (example 1, example 2,).

Others are turning to robot security firms.
