We are staring at crisis level Federal debt problem and the media seems to spend time mocking those who are trying to fix it, as witnessed by today’s political cartoon chosen by The Oregonian newspaper.

Wall Street Journal notes, “America’s $31 Trillion Debt Limit Is Maxed Out”

Wall Street Journal notes, “The monthly federal deficit was a record-setting $249 billion in November, $57 billion wider than the same month last year, as Republican control of the House puts the government’s finances back in the political spotlight. “

Where is the sense of alarm on such a clearly out-of-control threat to our nation’s stability and livability?
