Ballot measure to abolish walkout protests forever

As the announcement shows, a few lawmakers gathered this week (State Representative Khan Pham, Senator Michael Dembrow, State Representative David Gomberg) along with some political leaders (Michelle Ruffin, Executive Director Our Oregon, Dan Meek Oregon’s campaign finance limit pioneer).

The aim was to discuss a possible initiative petition to change the rules of quorum so that there would be less importance on the minority party participating in the rules of the Legislature.  Also, mentioned was ending walk-out protests forever.
