So obvious-it-is-odd headline of 2024

A man runs around trying to break into homes, wielding two guns, shooting at people saying “I’m going to kill everyone around me”.  Both civilians, police and various vehicles were running for cover.  (read more from KATU)

Truly awful situation.

The headline is odd because it looks so painfully obvious.  Yet, this is common in Oregon.

Criminals and addicts are shooting at police officers constantly.   One cop was shot at killed last year near Nyssa Oregon.  Hood River police were involved with a shoot-out last year as well.
