The Willamette Week reports that a tech executive from Bend, Matthew Davie, has filed to run for the 5th Congressional District in Oregon in the Democrat Primary. The seat is held by Republican Congresswoman Lori-Chavez DeRemer and has a 5% Democrat edge. The Democrat Primary includes former Congress #5 candidate Jamie McLeod-Skinner, State Representative Janelle Bynum

Matthew Davie, a tech executive from Bend, filed Jan. 18 to run for the Democratic nomination in Oregon’s 5th Congressional District and Metro Council President Lynn Peterson.
