Oregon Governor Tina Kotek recieved tow different ethic violation pardons this month.

First, the half million donation from the scandal cryptocurrency outfit FTX, gave a half million to the Oregon Democrat Party which used it to the benefit of candidate Tina Kotek by opposing her opponent Christine Drazan.   It was listed as a donation from Prime Trust when it was in fact from FTX founder Nishad Singh.   The State said there was not enough evidence.

Also, on July 1st we noted Governor Tina Kotek getting a pass on ethics violations involving her spouse using government resources.  We previously reported:

The Oregon Government Ethics Commission dismissed an ethics complaint against Oregon Governor Tina Kotek for her involvement of her spouse, First Lady Aimee Kotek Wilson, in the Governor’s Office. The vote was tied at 4-4, with 4 members dismissing the complaint and 4 members asking for more investigation into the matter. Those investigative-leaning 4 wanted to actually interview the three top Gov. Kotek staff members who left in protest over the First Spouse controversy. The four that sided with Governor Kotek said that there was no nepotism law violated and that there was no financial benefit for Gov. Kotek. Although, Gov. Kotek’s spouse was being set-up with an official government office, a paid government employee dedicated to work on her schedule, and examples of her spouse using her office to blur the lines into lobbying. All three items together paint a picture of a conflict of interest.

Even though Oregon Governor Tina Kotek has received two exemptions, it has not made her exemption from media scrutiny and damning headlines:
