LEADER HELFRICH HONORS FALLEN FIREFIGHTER

SALEM, Ore. – Today, House Republican Leader Jeff Helfrich (R-Hood River) offered the following statement on the death of James Maxwell of Idaho, who died after his plane crashed combating a wildfire.

“Firefighters and first responders from across the country are bravely combating some of the most severe fires we’ve seen in a generation,” said Leader Helfrich. “It is with great sadness that we honor James Maxwell’s sacrifice protecting Oregonians. Our prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
