Underdog wins Portland Mayor among 19 candidates

There were 3 sitting Portland City Commissioners running for Mayor out of 19 candidates.  All three of them lost to a political newcomer, Keith Wilson, who is a small business trucking CEO.

His message was wildly positive as he pledged to reduce all homeless in Portland in a single year.

As you can see below, he ran on the message of public safety and small business which is a common ground winning message..
