PDX Mayor poll shock: Man to “reduce all homeless” takes lead

The underdog candidate, Keith Wilson, has taken the lead in an Oregonian poll 53% to tough-on-crime candidate Rene Gonzales (47%).  The Oregonian used rank-choice voting methodology — which is the system now being used in Portland races.  Wilson pledged to eliminate all street homeless and all vehicle homeless in a single year.
