3 Portland headlines perfectly explain how lost they are

What a coincidence.

Three Portland headlines in a row as featured by the Oregon Watchdog news ticker tell a story.

Portland is blowing a billion on unnecessary non-city projects like the climate action fund (negligible results) and a street car famous for being empty.  Now they wish to expand the near-empty Portland street car to increase its failure.

At the same time the City is saying they are under-funded by $27 million.

It is all right there in the headlines.

The Climate Action fund may be funded by a dedicated-revenue tax, but that does not mean that this billion and half is vital — since no other city in America has such specific tax with such fund.
