When this site is down, it is because we’re being hit

Oregon Catalyst was again hit with a virus attack that was intentionally trying to overload our system.   This forced our site to shut down yesterday until it could be repaired.

Sometimes our website goes down when other conservative websites are hit as part of a large scale politically-driven website-warfare effort.  Other times, it may be a million-website mass virus attack when a vulnerability of a website software feature has been discovered and exploited all at once.

We issue this notice to inform our followers of what is going on in case they see an error message on our site.

Be patient, be vigilant, say a prayer, for Oregon Catalyst always bounces back within an hour or two.

Expect more errors in the future as a price of doing free speech on the internet.
