Rep. Helfrich announces early run for State Senate #26

By Oregon Campaign Watch,

Oregon State Representative Jeff Helfrich has announced that he is running for Oregon State Senate District #26 in a seat currently held by Oregon State Senator and Senate GOP Leader, Daniel Bonham, who is blocked from running for re-election due to Oregon’s new law (Measure 113) which does not allow lawmakers to run for re-election if they engage protest walk-outs during the Legislative Session.

Oregon State Representative Jeff Helfrich posted on his Facebook, “I announced my candidacy for Senate District 26, and I was moved by the overwhelming response. We’re building a movement—a movement of hardworking Oregonians who are tired of the games being played with their livelihoods in Salem. Thank you to everyone who reached out. If you want to join the movement, sign the official endorsement, and let’s get back to basics: http://jhelfrich.trusted-sms.com/endorse”
