Oscars plea for unity … as their films tear us apart

The Oscar host’s monologue invoked the Los Angeles fires and said the cure was Hollywood itself because films bring us together and unite us.

How just the opposite.

The film, The Brutalist, paints modern American Capitalism like Nazi Germany and fascism.

The film, The Apprentice, a complete anti-Trump rant.

Anora is celebrated as a film that finally celebrates and empowers prostitutes.

Conclave likes to jab Catholics with a twisted plot reveal meant to slight fans of the pope.

No other Land may tell one side of the Middle East conflict, but one-sided is not what this country needs.   The far-Leftist filmmakers and their public politics only push us apart.

Please Hollywood, give us something to aspire to and to unite behind instead of divisiveness.

As often said, politics is downstream from culture.  If culture floods us with Left-leaning, Capitalist bashing and distorted documentaries, we will bear a divided country.

— P.S. While some of the award winners and nominees were blatant politics (The Apprentice) , others were lighter political overtones or poor messaging.   Put them together and you have a real pile of toxic culture messaging.
