Proof Oregon remembers … and cares

On the Oregon Coast in Lincoln City can be found a special treasure of a memorial.  It honors those who died during Operation Desert Storm — a campaign so short and successful that people forget it happened.

A flower was laid on top by a bystander.

As seen, the memorial was created by Oregon entrepreneur Mark Hemstreet which is a symbol of how many of the memorials in Oregon were created through local small business owners and community support.

Oregon remembers and cares this Memorial Day.
