Kotek must condemn attacks on ICE officers

It has gotten out-of-control.

10 suspects in body armor planned a sophisticated attack on ICE officials in Texas which included laying a trap and then shooting up to 30 rounds before fleeing.

They had signs that read “”fight ice terror with class war free all political prisoners,” just like the “Free them all” caravan that is targeting a Tacoma ICE facility this week.

Attacks against ICE officials are up 700%!

In Oregon people have punched and shot industrial fireworks with shrapnel inside.  Here is one US Attorney report, “Gordon, pulling a proximity card reader from a stanchion located on the ICE facility’s driveway. During his arrest, Gordon kicked and grabbed the officers, injuring five officers as they placed him into custody.”

One Portland suspect wielded a large knife and threw it at officers.  This was part of three arrests for assaulting officers that very night.

On June 20th, US Attorney reports, “Juniper Perry Weed … charged by criminal complaint with the misdemeanor offenses of assaulting a federal officer and failure to comply with official signs and directions. Eduardo Diaz Guardado … has been charged by criminal complaint with the misdemeanor offense of assaulting a federal officer.”

Violent threats have been scrawled on local businesses next to the Portland ICE facility.

People are at risk of being killed.

We call upon Oregon Governor Kotek to condemn this violence and send resource help.
