Take a look at the headlines about Oregon Governor Tina Kotek calling the Legislature back into a Special Session this August 29th.

Governor Kotek says it is about protecting critical services, but in reality it is about protecting government jobs.

We cannot find any talk of new road projects or new bridges that will be built with Kotek’s new plan to raise gas taxes and wage taxes to pay for transportation costs.   Most of the costs are to pay for projects already funded by the 2017 10-year $5 billion transportation tax hike.  Those projects went over-budget.
