Business bashers chase iRobot away from Amazon to China

American-born domestic robot company iRobot has fallen into bankruptcy.  Amazon tried to step in and help.  It would have been a great fit since Amazon itself is a leading robot-tech company.   The Biden Administration, along with other liberals moved to block that union — citing monopoly concerns.    It is popular to bash businesses because they are simply large.   Now, iRobot has been taken over by their Chinese contractor, Picea.  Anti-businesses groups just made their big business concerns come true but not for America, but rather for the America’s #1 technological competitor.  Consider this a lose-lose outcome.   In light of Intel’s troubles and Textronix’s moving out of Oregon, the Northwest could have used a stronger tech boost by empowering Amazon.
