Lars Larson: “Killer” Kate Brown and the murderer who may walk free

NW and national radio host,

The Northwest Nonsense:

Maybe, we should call her “Killer” Kate instead of former Governor Brown.

Brown set a convicted killer on a path to walk out of prison, maybe as soon as next month.

In 2012, a Judge found Dustin Wallace guilty after he told investigators he crept into the bedroom of 5-year-old Sahara Dwight, began molesting and raping her, then smothered her to keep her silent.

Dustin Wallace did his disgusting crime at age 16, but under Oregon law, he was tried as an adult under Ballot Measure 11, passed not once but twice by voters, and Wallace got two consecutive life sentences.

Judge Randy Garrison told a courtroom back then that Wallace is too dangerous ever to walk free.

Sahara Dwight’s father, Tyler, told me he’s convinced that if this dirtbag gets out, he’s a threat to any child in whatever town he lands in.

Oregon’s Democrat-dominated legislature gutted the punishment for juveniles under Ballot Measure 11…but the law did not apply retroactively…and to get it passed, democrats promised it would not be retroactive.

But Democrats lie like a rug, so childless “Killer” Kate gave Wallace a commutation, which puts him up for parole every two years…a new kind of torture for Sahara Dwight’s family.

He comes up for parole in June. I hope Oregonians turn out in large numbers to attend.
