Gov. Brown’s beach ban proved disastrous

As we previously reported, the decision to block access to Oregon beaches even up to after Memorial Day has come at a huge cost to the Oregon Coast.  Employment data shows that the coast is the worst area in Oregon for the jobless trends.   The employment change by region for the coast is nearly twice the damage compared to every other region in Oregon.

The beaches provided a spacious outdoor area where people could gather with low-risk conditions and plenty of room for social distancing.
