Oregon warned over “Flash Drought”

Oregon is on alert for flash drought conditions by our State Climatologist.

When a flash drought occurs, it intensifies over a certain area and can widely destroy crops and it’s soil.  It can also create fast spreading wildfires.

This is why Oregon must clear out fire prone forests with fuel conditions build up.

This is why Oregon must acquire the 747  jumbo jet to be able to immediately pounce on wildfires.  These jets can carry 19,600 US gallons of fire retardant or water in mere hours.

This are things Oregon should…but likely won’t.
