The best compensated babysitters in the Pacific Northwest decided not to go to work at all, today.

Consider the facts.

Oregon spends billions on K-12 public education.

Portland public schools spend at least 22-thousand bucks a year, per student.

Results, in Oregon, stink.

60% of students not “proficient” in reading and writing.

70% fall short in math.

But no worries.  The state education board decided to scrub graduation requirements, using the pandemic as an excuse.

Now that THAT’S over, they extended the rule another 6 years.

Translation: you don’t have to actually read, write or count to graduate.

So a diploma represents a participation trophy for just showing up?

No, you don’t have to do THAT either.  To boost statistics, Portland public schools canceled the rule that students who miss more than 10 days are dropouts.

And today, teachers who don’t actually have to teach your kids anything…go on strike, demanding bigger paychecks and benefits for the job they don’t actually have to do.

The labor union claim’s “it’s all about the kids”.
